Dad and I follow your wonderful adventures with enthusiastic interest, greedily getting into your blog and you should see the disappointment when we haven't found anything new - but that's not often! You are so right about the markets in Florence. Irini and I bought 2 leather bags when we were there in 1995, and you are also right about the bargaining - Irini is a pro! Hilarious about the hotel in Florence, though! It is an amazing city - one I have tried to interest dad into thinking about living there for a year - just to soak up all the culture.
