| Message | We have been staying at Okains Bay each year for the past 14 summers - we used to stay with mates before children came along, and now our 3 daughters come along (and have done since they were infants). We normally stay for about 10 nights. Rain or shine, it's great if you remember to bring the right camping stuff! Beautiful area to camp in, safe lagoon and beach for everyone to swim in, use non-powereed and powered boats and explore. |

| Message | What a beautiful campground ! So close to the beach you can hear the waves at night. Very quit. Facilities clean and perfect kitchen with fridge. The beach is stunning and you can do a lot of hikes in the area. Would love to come back again |

| Message | Location : Christchurch ! We , and many others LOVE it here, as you can tell it gets busy and booked out but this doesn't mean 'tight squeeze' with your campground neighbour at all! With friends we have been camping here for the last 17 years. Children + friends all have great memories from regular annual camping holidays only 1.5hrs from home. Wonderful, safe, helpful & welcoming, adventurous, great training grounds, entertaining and a great bonding time out zone. |
