| Message | Lived in Virden from 1962 until 1967. Lived at 145 N. Hobson. Peacocks lived next door and their children's names were Jimmy and Nancy. | Message | My mother Helen N. Peacock-Smith was born and raised in Virden. She just turned 95 and is living in Wyoming. Her Mother was Margaret Peacock that lived on church street. Her sister was Margaret Peacock-Davis. I have many good memories of Virden. My Dad is buried there also. I have numerous cousins in Virden. Many Aunts and Uncles have lived there and are busired there also. I don't know if any of my Mom's friends are still living there. But if so, she would be glad to hear from them.  |
