Get Well Soon, Hal!

Aged only 17½ months, Hal has just had his second operation on his left elbow (30 July 2010). 
Although this time it was done by key-hole surgery, he still has 6 weeks of rest ahead of him before he can start going for walks again. 
And he's not allowed to jump, run, climb stairs or play with his brothers - all the things a puppy his age would want to be doing.

Hi Everyone, Hal here.

Thank you all so much for your kind messages. I must admit that I'm feeling rather sore and tired at the moment, so am trying to rest as much as I can, but it's great to be back home, and I appreciate everyone taking the time to let me know that you are thinking of me.

I'll try to update my blog as regularly as I can with my progress - and when I can't I'll ask my brother Zen to provide a quick update for me.

MessageYou poor, poor puppy, not being allowed to do all those puppy & big dog things. I'm getting quite good at staying still & looking after little things, so I would cuddle up with you (even though you aren't little like my babies or the kitten) & be gentle for as long as my puppiness would let me. Tell you mummy & Zen to update about you EVERY day ~ I'll be checking back here as often as mumma will let me.
