Just got done watching a documentary that you were in. My husband and I are going to a grant maker convention to propose to 15 companies why they should grant us the money to start a mushroom farming business in our state, Arizona. We would like to speak with you for any advice on ways we can propose this so that these companies will truly hear us.

Thank you

MessageHi Joan!
I am almost finished with the new book and find myself wondering how your SPRING is going so far. I love your writing and am hoping the flooding has stopped for you. I have 23 more SPRINGS left for myself and treasure every one. Thanks for the great read. As I write I am watching a mama hummingbird tend to her nest!

got your book from the local library (liberry as my kids and I say)
love your passion
my yard has almost no grass. I pulled my sweet man to us and he has changed the feel to one of covered beds, greenhouses, joy.

tonight, late as it is , i am canning squash soup. pressure canners rock. your story makes me laugh and cry. thank you. in cowichan Bay, BC, Canada, there is a garden feeding a host of folk, including two smalls (10 and 12) and two olders (50 and 60) and a swack of folk who come to buy greens.

MessageJoan, This Organic Life changed my whole view on food. I think about you on almost every grocery trip and wonder...where did that strawberry come from?! More importantly your love of parsnips and your sauteed parsnip recipe fueled my desire to grow this fantastic vegetable which resulted in some surprising results. As a result I dedicated my first blog post to you. Thanks again for teaching me to think about where my food comes from and to know that my battles with garden varmints could always be worse! Thanks, -K

MessageJoan, I just found you on Green 960 waking up with my ear-bud radio, we are kindred spirits.

[The interview almost never mentioned your name or website, but I found you.]

I wish to make vidcasts of many similar subjects. I feel the "new media" is via video casts, even podcasts; but video seems to attract more interest for the visual mind in all of us. I want to get many messages to the mass audience of "seekers" about medicine, diet, health, organics, note investments that is "quality" and highly efficient from a learning perspective. I know the basics, but not good on the technicals of compression, streaming, and media alternatives (CD or web)...etc. I have camera, small studio, but need good resource that would guide me, but not cost me a lot of money, in the process. Do you have any contact?

Al smilie
