| Message | Does anybody who worked at Data General remember working with a man named Leoscar Peton. He claimed to have been in charge of the engineering dept. in the Waterbury, CT facility. I can't find any reference to a Waterbury location at all. |

| Message | Even though Data General had a tradition of April Fool stories, today is not one of them. The old Data General (EMC) Customer Support Center in Duluth, GA is no more. While there are local/regional folks here, Technical Support is no longer located here. Many folks were let go, given option to move to Utah or Raleigh (or leave company), other are to work from home and there were a couple of voluntary early retirements. Out of (35) folks, (15) are left and those left work in their converted bedroom offices. I remain in the building along with a few other DG hold overs. We are those not in Customer Service but in other groups. We did have some get-togethers for various folks. It was both happy, sad and proud of all that we have accomplished together. Since Roy Carter planned his retirement and is my brother-in-law as well, we created these videos for his retirement. Enjoy and you might see some people you know. | Message | 10 Years at Data General. Hired 1975 at Sobo plant, one moth later relocated to Westbrook, ME. During my stay until 1985, designed, implemented and managed the (QAAP) Quality Awareness Awards Program, (RA) Return Authorization program, and revitalized the MRB operations. They were great years. Thank you DG for giving me the opportunity to plan and take action. |
