MessageOne more thing, smilie
Do you have any recommendations about easing into the diet or something to help with the detox? That part really scares me because I have heard it can take up to 4 months, and I know the next few weeks are important for me with exams and projects, so should I delay starting or start slowly? I am worried detox will be hard for me because I have problems with depression and until recently was taking a bunch of drugs that probably put all kinds of toxins lingering around in my cells! Being a fruitarian sounds like a great way to get them all out but I wanted to be careful in the process..
Thank you so so much again again again!!

MessageHello Julie!
I have been so stresst with studying, and for break google-imaged fruit pictures, which made me stumble upon your blog. What good fortune!! I could barely peel myself away from reading! I recently am trying to be vegan, but finding it difficult because I don't like the way heavy processed wheat/soy/canola/lentil products feel on my gut. I had only vaguely heard of fruitarianism before and now I really want to try it!! I don't know how to thank you enough: this is the first time in years I recall feeling excited about anything. Thank you so much!
Do you think you could do a post or send me an email with tips about how to start out fruitarian? Just general tips and things to be careful for, and maybe a basic set of recipes/preperation tricks so that I know how to shop and what to eat in the near future? Do you wash your food in a special way? Is a food processor enough kitchen equipment? What ratio of fruits to veggies would you recommend? Do you use any yeast/fungi/microbial foods?
I know that is a lot of questions and a lot of info about me, please don't feel overwhelmed! You seem like such a wonderful person and so inspirational! Also, I am studying science so if you ever want a consult on any science topics I can always ask my professors and get back to you!
With lots of great wishes,
Grey smilie
