| Message | Sabai Resort was a good find. It was good value for money. The bungalows are quite large and spacious with loads of storage space. There is no piped hot water but it doesn't matter because the cold is tepid all the time. There is however an electric show for those who want very hot showers. Tons of space in the wardrobes and drawers. You have a terrace with two plastic armchairs and a clothes line (hurray). The pool was kept beautifully and one side is in sun all day. They use deck chairs because space is at a premium. Da Carla is the restaurant which served excellent Thai food and the Italian must also be good because it was full of Italians every night. Good prices - some of the lowest in the area. The place was clean and friendly. A late find was the games and TV room and library above the restaurant. Decent TV and furniture. You can easily pick up a tuk tuk right outside but it's only 90m to the main road and about 1 km into Ao Nang town if you fancy the walk. Lovely walks along the beach to the right too. We went all the way to the end of Nopparat Thara beach (to the boat HQ) where there is a small area of bars and restaurants behind the woods along side the beach and some nice scenery. A good local excursion. |

Très bon rapport qualité/prix, un complexe très bien entretenu et un restaurant aux prix démocratique offrant un large choix (même en y mangeant chaque soir durant 15j) de plats succulents. Un grand bravo et vivement à l’année prochaine !!! |
