MessageI love this website. :D Do you ever revisit some of the more prominent buildings whose futures might be up in the air? (i.e. the old hotel Bono of U2 fame was supposedly considering buying and restoring, etc)

I was browsing Donegal on Google Earth and saw this. 54°27'27.85"N 7°36'3.24"W Check it out in Street View. Made me think of your site.

MessageJust ordered the book online and sooooo delighted that the exhibition will be on in Limerick on October 21st. We'll be there for sure. Thanks for highlighting the plight of these wonderful buildings and for bringing life and charm to them again.

MessageDear Mr Blake,

I really admire your work and your website is so inspirational. I am doing my A Level photography coursework at the moment and as I live part time in Dublin, I would love to visit some of the sites where you took your photographs. I am there this weekend and was wondering whether you needed permission to enter the various sites?

Kind regards,

Flora Donovan

MessageBrialliant presentation of a tragic reality though I wonder are some mansions monuments to a brutal/unjust past (e.g Tempel House. What a pity the money that was wasted in the Tiger years was not used to preserve these once beautiful architectural splendour for the public. What an attraction. Most sad th see the state of Blackrock baths .. fond memories.

MessageUnbelievable how many buildings and houses have been allowed to just rot away with no thought to preservation. You have done a fabulous job I love the comments especially on the "haunted" houses. I have just ordered your book and look forward to seeing it. Also a great job on the virtual reality.
