| Message | We met Sunday at church and you gave me your book. I must tell you this book will change young girl’s lives. It made me re-examine every area of my life -- the way I dress, the friends I hang out with, even who I am influencing. As a teenager, I want to be hip but nothing is worth losing my values. I have to set my proper values first. My favorite part was when Brena was running, thinking that because she was skinny she didn’t have to work out. That has me written all over it! I also liked when you were speaking about reaching your goals and working towards it now. You equated the virtuous woman with issues we face today as girls--respecting our parents, cherishing our mothers, being responsible, setting a good example. You have definitely made a difference in my life. I’m going to try to change some things in my life. Thank you for this book, Mrs. Kabrena. |
