| Message | The reason the oilers would like to play thier home games , They have companies that have put up the money so these kids can play football rather than being on the streets. Its only fair that they should be reconizied at home games. I look at how the warriors run thier pomotions, It's done the right way, All we want is the same opportunity to do that.By the time it's over with if we make the the bayou bowl game ,I think the team will have spent about $6,000 dollars on travel expenses. and yes we do make money at the home games to help with the costs of traveling. the oilers came into this league to help build the best league with the best teams in the south, and I think it will get there, though there's still alot of work to be done. we are humbled to have our record and to play as well as we have been playing, but it hurts when you have 5 to 6 weeks in between games, I want to thank the league commissioners for doing all that they have done but I believe they could do more to help with the playoff travel expenses being we have had only 2 home games. I look foward to the Hard Hittaz coming to town and playing another tough physical game like the first one. | Message | I'm tired of getting on here and reading this mess that's going on it's a shame that several people are trying to turn a POSIIVE into a NEGATIVE. @ Mr 3.2 there's no rules that has been change all the rules and by-laws has been in place since day one if you don't like this league you can get you a team and go play where you like. To anyone else if you don't have anything POSITIVE to say about this league and the owners and players that come to practice and the games post your opinion on your team guestbook. @ Tim it's not all about tickets sales or rankings it's about giving these young men a second chance in life or trying to save these young lifes from these streets if anyone have a PROBLEM with ME or my OWNERS give me a call. And for those on the outside looking in. There are several things going on with the Oilers from day one and the owners and I have bent over backwards and been very lenient and been keeping things confidential from everyone so please let's get the facts first. As far as the teams who have had a change of heart all I can say there's no perfect league out there and we are far from perfect but if you have any suggestions I am always open to hearing them. So can we all try and be ADULTS and stop the slander. |

The reason how and why i know it was you cause when the beast lost to the warriors you went out of your way to compliment them for there victory(well deserved). The thing that i dont understand is why are you even concerned about what happens over here. You need to be worried about the Storm, Oilers, Colts, and the Express. Notice i didn't name your team. So chill out and finish your season. @Oilers community. I agree with you on home field games. You have every right to feel the way you do. But you had to know that this could happen. Like you say you will play anyone and anywhere. But the professional way to do it is contact the heads and discuss that issue with them and not put the family business in the street. I respect your team and your hella organized. But, don't let that azz get your mind twisted. GCFA is the worse league in the state. There on life support and there shortly dying. So i appreciate the Oilers and i hope this is settled. Good luck. P.S. Marcus chill out man. If you dont like this league QUIT!!! Nobody asking you to stay. You cool and all but damn that gets old. You wonder why your team is struggling. Cause you focus on the non factor instead of the factor. You didnt win games in the GCFA and your not winning games here. Maybe, JUST MAYBE your focus is off. You have no idea how many tickets my team have sold compared to your because you arent at all the games just like im not. 2. Before you begin to start about any team you need to make sure you have your team 100%. Its been rumored (i cant say because i haven't seen you guys) that YOUR team only has one set of jersey? How true that is, i have no idea but you should use your money from the many fans you have to get that 2nd set of jerseys you need. God Bless |
