We are doing well guys...

2-2 half time was not too bad and the game was looking close.
You pulled your socks up and did what Chris and I asked..
you battled to the end which was shown when David scored with 2 mins to go.
Well chufed with everyones effort yesterday.

MessageWell done to my team on two great results against FC Rangers. You thoroughly deserve it everyone. You've been working hard in training and it certainly shows in the final result.
A big test next week but i'm sure if we carry on working and stick together we might just come home with a nice result.
See you all Tuesday and a big thankyou to Russ, Sasha & Karen for stepping in to look after you all in the first time i've not been on the sidelines. smilie

Message4 points out of 6 today will seem, on reflection, like a good return. The first string FC Rangers were a pretty decent footballing side, able to pass the ball well and solidly defensive. AFC struggled to get their passing game going and looked sluggish as a result - perhaps lucky to get the point via a penalty, an o.g. and some tenacious battling.

In the second match, AFC showed some real quality by combining pace with passing ability. Time after time the Rangers defence was scythed open by intelligent play and a great workrate. Plus a brilliant long range boot from Owen Clarkstone!

Great fun for the spectators - well done lads!
