MessageTravis talked to our Collective Behavior/Social Movement sociology class yesterday about Bryce's story and how it all began. I think he is an absolutely amazing man for starting this - even if he didn't intend for the cause to get as large as it is today. He has a lot of courage and determination and I am in awe of him. I hope Bryce comes out of "conversion therapy" still knowing who he is and I really hope he realizes the tons of support he has -- even from those who don't personally know him. I highly doubt Bryce will reenter society as a heterosexual since conversion practices are a PROVEN FAILURE and do nothing but cause psychological (and sometimes physical) harm. A person's sexual orientation CANNOT be changed as if it is a disease. I don't understand how people, especially your own family, could turn their backs on you for something you cannot control, but I hope your parents and family will one day become accepting - or at least tolerant - of your sexual orientation. When and if you read this: STAY STRONG, BRYCE. LOVE WHO YOU ARE AS YOU ARE LOVED. YOU HAVE SO MANY PEOPLE BEHIND YOU AND WHO BELIEVE IN YOU. LASTLY - AND MOST IMPORTANTLY - FIND HAPPINESS FOR YOURSELF, NOT TO PLEASE OTHERS, no matter how hard it may be.

MessageMy Dearest Bryce,

Today was a day full of meetings which is the new story of my life now that I am a man of many, many hats. Although it keeps me busy I like it because it makes the time go by even faster so it will be like no time until we are finally reunited. I love you.

MessageMy Dearest Bryce,

This weekend was spent mostly sitting around the house relaxing for the final weeks of the semester to come. I can't believe an entire school year is almost finished and soon you will be out and free to be yourself. I wish it would happen sooner but I know our time will be coming very soon and I can not wait for that day. I love you and miss you very much.

Love Always,

Travis
