| Message | Part 2 of 2: However I would have never imagined that our story would have gotten so big so quickly. I feel bad if your family did receive the harassment they were rumored to have received. But I know that you know that was not the intent of this guestbook or website, that the intent was reaching out to you and others in your position. But sometimes there are unpredictable and/or uncontrollable “side effects” to the decisions that we make. But those “side effects” go both ways as I, my family and the late Reverend Harris also experienced harassment's and threats.
I do love you and you will always have a place in my heart. I really do hope you decide to contact me. I do want you to know that if I were to go back in time to when we first met, and then when I went to Little Rock to see you again that I would not change anything. It may have hurt, but sometimes the good still makes the bad worth it and that is the case for me. As Garth Brooks said in his song The Dance, “My life is better left to chance, I could have missed the pain but I’d of had to miss the dance.” I would not trade or want to miss our time together (or our dance) for anything.
I will occasionally check this site for updates and just hope that one day you find it and know that not only was I there for you this entire time but millions of people around the world were as well.
I love you and I wish you only the best in your life.
Love Always,
Travis |
