I ignorantly but gladly shout out countless woo's...i am shushed by a coworker. two hours remain until i am able to clock out--this excites me, fore then, i will be able to sleep. I searched about the lizard and wiki answer gave this: "Answer a star fish can regrow several limbs. Everytime a starfish looses an arm it regrows it." also, a google summary provided this... | Message | hey - nice photos! looks like an adventurous day. I'm no lizard expert (obviously) but I know they can regenerate their tails. I did some checking on "limb regeneration in lizards" and that seems a little more iffy, but still possible. Of course s/he would have to still be able to get around , eat, etc, while waiting for the new limb to grow back. Perhaps Robert can shed some insight. love mom/alice |
