| Message | Hey Michael! It was so great to meet you this past Saturday, July 25, 2009. I came to the City Chow House for my birthday with my mom, dad and husband. You graciously stopped by to chat with us for a few and I got to take a nice photo with you. You even suggested we snap another just in case. I have to tell you, we all LOVED the food you cooked, it was truly awesome and you are an extremely talented chef!  It was a pleasure and we were all saying how we can't wait to go back for more blue pizza, those succulent short ribs and the tasty mac and cheese. I had a Wild West Burger and it was to die for! All in all it was one of the best birthdays ever and whether you knew it or not, you certainly had a huge role in making it so special. Thanks for taking the time to sign an autograph ( I know how busy you were that night) and thanks for a wonderful experience -both culinary and personal. Can't wait to get back to the City Chow House! Everyone, please check it out - you won't be disappointed!  |

| Message | Hi Michael - this is the first year my husband watched TNFS and he loved watching you as much as I did. Your demise, unfortunately, was your admission that you were afraid of the camera. We live on Long Island, and when we get the opportunity to visit Rob Petrie's neighborhood of New Rochelle we will definitely come to your restaurant. I seem to recall several other finalists who have eventaully had their own show - I hope you are one of them. You're absolutely fabulous and I know you would have gotten used to the camera with time. You're very talented and please do not doubt yourself....you are who you are and it's beautiful!!
