I will be forever grateful to P/M Al Bosworth and Tim for providing me the opportunity of learning the pipes and marching up 5th Avneue on St. Patrick's Day!!!! Although I have reached the age of 80, I continue to play the pipes for my family and friends. Keep up the great work and I wish all of the band members the best of continued success..Mike |

| Message | This is a shout to PM Tim. Was just looking at some old videos of the band playing at St Pats in NYC, USMA at Trophy Point and at Sterling Forest in 1985. Have seen some Youtube footage of you and the band in NYC for Tartan Day. This St Pat's Day marked my 30th year on the street. I play with Galloway Gaelic Pipes and Drums- Glens Falls NY. We've got a few on YouTube also. We compete in Grade 5, Bonnie Brae, Glascowlands- Ma, Great American and EUSPBA Altamont NY, Have also do Hunter MT, I saw Bob in your postings, anyone else from the 80s still out there? It was our first time taking part and we wish we could come every year, but sadly it's a little to far to come all the way from England. The kids in the band loved the playing after, it's something they will never forget. Once again thanks for a great day! |
