| Message | Great for you to stop by and check on us. Work is ongoing on the Reunion booklet. Nan has finished all her hard work and has now forwarded it to Connie for the publishing work. The photos yall have sent in are great, with over 2,500 photos collected. Yes you will get a copy of each and every one of those photos with your reunion booklet. The planned date for the booklet to go out is Thanksgiving. After that the Committee will settle in for a long winters nap (through the Christmas holidays) then wake up and get back to work in January, planning our June function. I hope all are planning on attending. Be sure and visit the website for any updates. Gary |

But as I said at the reunion, my part is easy, just surround yourself with great task oriented people who have great focus, throw in a couple of folks with great business sense, have one designated non-sleeping worry wart and lastly concentrate on having people with loads of talent and heart. And there you have it. A three day event like non other. Who besides our class would ever consider holding a three nighter? Besides, we are the only ones with stamina enough to last that long. lol. Thanx again, Gary. A special thanks goes out to Terry Don and Artie, and all who put on the quadruple "F", Fish Fry on the Farm in Frierson. They bear the sole credit for that event!!! |

Had a great time connecting back with my classmates after all these years. I'm a very emotional person and this certainly made me emotional. I wish we could do it all over again. | Message | Buzz (Buzzanca!). Sorry we can't make it to the SHS 30th. It's a shame we can't get the English class together for Slang Slaughter this weekend and then have Brabham draw a masterpiece of "Ham Arm" to honor Beowulf. Ah, the days in Shaeffer's class...now THAT was a great class to be in! Glad to know Melissa is doing well. Tell her "hello" from me. These days, as a history teacher, I'm "bullish on history notes" (Karam used to love to say that) and enjoy being a dad (though having a teenage daughter may make me go completely gray faster) and husband though my wife doesn't find my jokes nearly as funny as the English class did. I wonder why?  Hey, we're in Dallas so if you travel over here to "Big D" just give me a call and we'll show you the sights. To everyone else, just have a great time partying and talking about the "good old days" at SHS this weekend. |
