MessageHi Dave,

It was great to meet you last week, you may recall we met on the grandstand at Boy Scout Woods last week and then we spoke again near the car park?

I've logged onto your blog and I'm impressed with your stuff - I like the Hooded Oriole!

I have nearly finished editing the shots taken on my Texas tour so please have a look at www.stuartelsom.co.uk and tell me what you think!

Keep up the good work and keep in touch

Regards

Stuart

MessageIncredible pictures of High Island, Dave. You've convinced me to make it a priority to drive over there. See you on the boards, Ellen

MessageVery nice. I would like to see all the birds without the circumstances that brought them there.

I know it would take forever but it would be nice if the birds were ID'd. I don't get quite a few of them in the areas that I can visit.

BTW i have bookmarked and will return often.

MessagePer your question on Bird Forum - while I enjoy looking at bird pictures (in a semi-critical way as I photograph them too), I am most interested in descriptions of trips to birding "hotspots" - like your Rio Grande area - here in the US that I might have a chance to visit. For example, "bkrownd" forum posts about birding on Hawaii are particularly useful to me, as I have visited some of the areas he describes but have learned quite a bit more about these spots from his posts.

MessageHi Dave,

This blog is awesome man, I really liked the birds in flight, The laughing gulls were really a great catch.

Your photography is really good, it is tough to be that QUICK and get the settings right for a good shot I know. All I really see here in Erie are mostly seagulls. I frequent the dock here but maybe if I went into the penninsula I would find more variety.

Maybe Deb has told you, I am more of a "Girl" watcher than a "Bird" watcher........BUT in England they are both the same so maybe I should go there and take some pictures of the "birds".....LOL

Anyway, NICE going here man, I enjoyed it all!!

Thanks
