Caught the story in the wee hours of this morning on an overnight news network. It touched me deeply. What a fine boy you have and what a legacy. God is so proud of him and you!

Ijust seen Mackintyres story on CBS news at 2:24a.m. on April 23rd 2009 and I am truly moved to tears by Gods Greatness. I can only imagine the souls that will see Heavens Glory by Gods Holy Spirit working through this young man. It makes me feel guilty for not spreading the Word nearly as much as I should. I will do more because of Mackies example. Praise be to God.
My heart goes out to you and your family. What a precious child with such marvelous plans. I have never heard of such a young child wanting to build a church.
Your family has been truly blessed to have shared nine short years with this extraordinary young man.
My prayers will be with you.
All my love and prayers, Karla Ingle

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Garton, I just read Mackintyre's story in the April Rural Missouri. I am so sorry for your losing Mackintyre so suddenly and so unexpectedly and at such a young age! I cannot imagine your overwhelming grief, yours and everyone who knew him. He sounds like he was an angel in disguise and in this day and age, a boy such as Macintyre would be direly needed, with his positive direction and goal, a church, at his age! What a wonderful role model he would have made, and likewise, what wonderful role models you obviously were for him! Good Job! After reading the article in the paper, I read the website entries. What a beautiful memorial in and of itself, the website! My heart goes out to you. YOu are very strong people to continue to realize Macintyre's Church. The world would be a better place with more people like you and your community of friends and family. I will wish you best wishes and continued success now, as it is not likely we will ever get out to meet you and marvel at Macintyre's Church in person!

The realization of seeing the church and the gardens was so amazing to me on Saturday. I have not seen construction myself since the outer scruture. Mackintyre is smiling down saying, "Keep up the good work. There are so many people more to touch and help." Much love, Jodi

Being a parent I realize one thing for sure that our children do not really belong to us. They are wonderful gifts from God. Our set time of our passing is already known by our Lord. There are no mistakes in Gods providence. Your sons story is so much larger than just a little boys life. How else could he touch so many people's lives in only his short time here on earth. Gods grace is so bountiful working through your son. His story has blessed me and Im sure it will continue to bless many others for years to come. May Gods peace be upon you..
