| Message | these criminals vs animal cases should be prosecuted the same as those cases vs people. animals should have the same rights as humans and it's up to humans to make that happen. what's wrong with people? why don't people put their family or pets in the same position as the crime at hand? |

You see so many crime investigation shows to know that only one as twisted as this start off on something small, like animals to then only turn to humans, I can't believe that they will get the chance to pled insane, when it was planned. It is disgusting to know that there isn't a law strong enough to do justice to a crime so terrible, it really makes you feel unsafe to know that these nasty men could be allowed to walk the streets that you and I live in. I believe there should be a stronger punishment of life behind bars forever for these mongrels! |

| Message | I think its totally sick and uncalled for that any human being can do this to something so helpless, what did he ever do to them? Nothing, he didnt deserve to die like that no animal does. I am totally against all animal cruelty and believe that laws should be tougher and penalties should be carried out to term not shortened if they behave good. My heart goes out to the neilsen family and poor little peanut who looked so sweet and wouldnt harm anyone, he didnt deserve this.  |

| Message | Not only is this case sad beyond belief, but it is just as sad that there is no law already in place to deal with such brutal and disgusting crimes against innocent animals. Why should we have to go through this stage of protesting to change or update the law each and every time a crime of this nature grabs our attention in the world media? If found guilty, then the book should be well and truly thrown at the two accused. The same book should then be passed around, and thrown repeatedly at the two accused until nothing remains of them but a puddle of red shame and a couple of torn pages. In reality, i would like to see all claims relating to MENTAL HEALTH thrown out by the courts, and the full fine of both $75,000 AND a jail sentence of MINIMUM TWO YEARS with no parole imposed on both of the accused. Either that or slap their wrists and set them free among the public, but only AFTER they have been identified, and publicly named and shamed. That i fear, would bring about "actual" justice, or justice as it was meant to be. Sadly, none of that will ever bring peanut back, but i believe that an example NEEDS to be set right here and now with those two killers. |

| Message | I came across this group on facebook, and i have to say that not only was i completely disgusted by the people that did this but was filled with so much anger ! I'm the owner of 2 gorgeous and amazing black cats and i have a lil dog that lives with my parents,and as any animal lover knows...your pets are like your kids ! These cruel heartless evil people need to be euthanized there is no need for people like that in our society ! How have we humans even let things get this far ? Animal cruelty should be up there with first degree murder ! not a little slap on the wrist and 6 months probation ! It's time for the animal lovers to be heard so that sick depraved and disgusting events like this stop happening ! RIP lil peanut |
