| Message | Our justice system need an overhaul. Too often have we seen criminals with a slap on the hand and released in no time, and especially for cases of animal cruelty. This is a wrong message to send to the young deliquents! Time we should rise up for a change and to let these heartless inhumane oxygen-thieves know that crime is not fun. My thoughts are with you and your family. It gives me some solace to know that Peanut is in a better place now. :~( Angry Pet-Owner |

What could they have to say for themselfs, crazy want get it. I am reminded fo that saying about the greatness of a nation is judge by the way it treats is animals, I guess you judge a man the same way. |

My cat Tizzy is getting into her golden years now, and I cannot begin to imagine how I will deal with that fateful day when it eventually comes, and even then she'll most likely depart naturally; so I commend your increadible courage and love in dealing with your tragic and utterly undeserved loss. Stay strong, justice WILL come to those truly evil men, whether through actions of the law, or actions of kharma. |

| Message | I was brought to tears when I read the story on Peanuts. I truelly believe that animals of all species have a right to live to their fullest potential and have the best life possible just as us humans. I can not believe how 2 adults could be so cruel to such a beautiful defenseless puppy. I feel so sorry for the family he was apart of as they are suffering in their own way. I have no time for humans who have no respect for animals. I believe the wheel will turn and any person who is cruel etc. to animals will get what they deserve at some time or other. My partner and I rescue animals and our hearts are torn to see the state of abuse people take upon beautiful creatures. You sometimes think to yourself why should we respect our own kind when they act like barbarics towards animals that do no harm to them. Our hope Peanuts rests in peace and I will make a promise that the next cat or dog etc. we rescue will be named Peanuts to honour this cute puppy. Rest in Peace. I wish the Neilsen family the best! |

| Message | I am so sorry for Peanut and his family. My boyfriend and I are parents to a beautiful 1 & 1/2 year old beagle and he is truly part of our family and we'd be absolutely devastated if anything were ever to happen to him. This cruelty to poor Peanut is appalling and there should definitely be far more severe penalties for animal abuse. I have also signed the petition and hopefully we can make a difference. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Neilsen Family. |
