| Message | This story touched my heart. I live in a town of some revolting animal cruelty and refuse to let my kitten outside just in case he sadly caught and injured or killed. To think of it happening to any animal rips at all heart strips. RIP little peanut. |

| Message | I have 2 little dogs that i treat as my kids.So sad and cant think and feel what P went through.Give these evil monsters the maximum term if not more.This was very,very sadistic.I cried for Peanut and it took me weeks to get over it.I challenge the court to make an example to not let this happen again!!! |

| Message | I have just read about Peanut ; I felt physically sick and haven't stopped crying yet about what the sick individuals did! I have myself small fox terrier cross,the love and trust she shows me has no comparison to what we as humans show each other. I cannot imagine what Peanuts owner feels,my heart goes out to you, I hope they lock those 2 up and lose the key for what they did  send them down.I wish you all the luck in the world with the petition, lets make sure the get what the deserve and stop it happening again |

| Message | When I read about darling li ttle Peanut it broke my heart, I have cried and cried for him. I have had five small dogs over 30 years and they have been my best friends. Losing your friend in a normal way is distressing enough but to lose them in such a sadistic and barbaric way is unbearable.My heart goes out to dear little Peanut and to his owner Danielle. I am so very sorry for your pain and heartache. You have so much support and love from so many animal lovers I hope it gives you some comfort knowing we are there for you. These sadistic men need locking up for good and should never be allowed back into society. I pray that they get more than the maximum penalty and they are revenged in prison. I don't hate anyone but I hate these monsters. Rest In peace darling Peanut |

| Message | Dear Peanut, I could feel my heart breaking in 2 when I read about the horrible end to your short lived life. Without doubt the only creatures that are evolved enough to convey pure love are dogs. I know you are happy, healthy and running around and smelling everything you can. I hope one day I will be able to meet you and roll around and play with you. To your family, I hope you can find hope and strength in knowing that your bundle of love is now safe and happy and that so many decent human beings feel your pain and wish you all the best. We are now fighting along side you for Peanut and all animals throughout Australia and the World. May time and justice heal your heartbreak and pain.
