Message | Mike, I have rarely surfaced over the years, but I have had my '66 L78 since day one. I could talk endlessly about it, so I won't...not now. It is my last of six frame-ups in my life. I shipped it from Montana to Kentucky for it to be near my daughter. The gentleman that hauled it asked my daughter if it was hers and she replied "It's my dads." He said "He does amazing work." I appreciated that. I learned a lot over the years. I belonged to NCRS for a dozen years in it's early days. I top-flighted two Corvettes, a C1 and a C2, and judged for many years. Judging was a great way to piss off a friend. I would like to talk further with you without the constraints. Can you help? Lastly, the car is a CA car, made in Fremont, CA. There tends to be confusion on certain aspects of CA cars. Hope to hear from you. Jim |
