MessageHey Judy. sounds all really tough Judy. I sort of breathed a sigh of releif when you were through surgery and recovering, but the journey has gone on with some really tough days for you. Friends of mine that have been on steroids say they can completely change your personality. I think your breast looks absolutely amazing in your pictures! And it is going to look even better yet. I remember as a nursing student seeing a gorgeous woman who had a double mastectomy without reconstruction and I can tell you yours looks 100% better. I smiled at you and your goody bag coming home from the make up party, thats Christmas sorted out this year!
Look after yourself Judy, you sure are a great woman.
I have been meeting a few Americans here lately and have been having a great time chatting with them. An American woman describes the cultural difference this way. New Zealanders can not say anything they are good at! Americans can say, Im good at this, Ive done this thing well in the past, I enjoy this. We are taught and a young age to not what we consider gloat. Just imagine a New Zealander on a blind date or a job interveiw!
Apparently the women here are statistically promiscuous. I am wondering how the men got away with no mention. Interesting!

Hi judy,

Yes, yes. Cancer is an asshole. And so is much of the way health care works in the U.S. But there is a big carrot and the end of all those horrible sticks. Keep on keeping on. Keep angry. Keep Daphne in your heart and hands. Keep all of our love, thoughts, and help with you. Fight the assholes! Beat them!

all our love,
LaSota family

MessageHey Judy,

Glad you are pissed, it is a sign of strength. And yes, thank God for Daphne, thinking of everything you will be able to see with her and Heather will get through this last Chemo. I am so amazed by your story of survival. All the shit you have had to deal with. Mind blowing. I wish I could do more than thoughts and prayers. Let me know if I can.

Mary
