| Message | My parents stayed at your hotel when they came to visit us after we'd just moved house. The accommodation and food was awful. The 'garages' at the back of the hotel that you sell as 'rooms' are freezing cold with no central heating, terribly decorated with out of date fixtures and fittings and are absolutely filthy - you should be ashamed to accommodate people in these rooms. My Dad is not one to complain so was just glad when they checked out but my Mum wanted to leave immediately. The food you served on the Friday evening was awful too - stale oil had obviously been used to cook the stale and foul tasting goujons you served us, they were disgusting and to top it all the people in your kitchen burnt something or other and the awful burnt fat smell wafted through the restaurant that tarnished our hair and clothing. Awful and Amateur you need a hotel inspector to visit immediately to demonstrate how to clean and run a good bed and breakfast, you should not call yourselves a hotel as you're just a little pub with rooms. |

| Message | Our stay at the Red Lion was comfortable and quiet. The food was very good and the hospitality first class. I would not hesitate to stay there again. |
