MessageRadioman A school 62/63 and then served aboard the USS Hyades AF-28 from 4/63 to 4/65, transfer to the USS Recovery ARS-43 until discharged in May 66. A school was probably the most comprehensive education one could receive, and the typing skills taught there have stuck with me all of my life !

MessageServed from 1975 to 1995 on 4 submarines - USS Spadefish (SSN668), USS Pollack (SSN603), USS Bremerton (SSN698), USS Aspro (SSN648). Was also at NAVWPNCEN China Lake CA and COMSUBPAC Pearl Harbor HI. Looking at this site brings back old memories, the way communications used to be and how intense it was trying to send outgoings on HF ORESTES back in the day.
