MessageA belated note on your wonderful commentary - have to tell you that while you may take credit for many of the visits to your site, we tend to go back and then back again to reread many of your entries - always brings a smile! What comes across is your clever sense of humor and the joy that Jackson brings. Please keep up your good work.
Love, Judy

MessageHey Laura,
How are you holding up with XXX? I hope you are o.k. there in XXX. I haven't seen much of the news, since most of the time I am watching Curious George or Go, Diego Go, but I just wanted to check on you. Hope you are all doing well and staying dry smilie

MessageMatt's rejoinder (Sleepy Time): technically, I did not succumb to pain, but rather boredom. Jackson fell asleep on me and I was trapped in a room with no light, no adult conversation (Laura was blogging at the time -- you'd think maybe she would keep me company, but she has her blogging priorities. smilie Nope, not a thing to do - not even a book. After watching the fan spin a few dozen times, I could only take so much. I tried to get up without waking the Little Sleepy Head, but that was my mistake. He awoke within 2 minutes. Lesson learned: watch the spinning fan a few hundred times next time. matt

MessageLaura - YOU are GOOD! I think you SHOULD quit your day job and write full time!! It's so good to see Jackson in his natural habitat...no one cuter than our Jackson. Grocery shopping and haircuts sound like unforgettable experiences fo all concerned. smilie Thanks for sharing parts of your lives with those of us yearning for more of the same!!! Love and hugs to Matt and Jackson. smilie smilie smilie

MessageHi Laura-
I thoroughly enjoy your blog, and have recommended it to a friend who has a two year old!
Your story about bumping into things reminded me of Uncle Hugh taking Grandpa into Home Depot- Grandpa would tool around in one of those motorized carts - taking out whole displays as he rounded corners. Uncle Hugh would run behind him re-assembling whatever he destroyed- good times!

MessageLaura,
I love checking you blog because I feel like I can catch up with you because we are both so busy with our little ones and day to day life, that it is hard to keep in touch all the time! I also love your stories about Jackson and I can relate to most all of them. I would love to start a blog myself, but can barely find time to check even my email these days...maybe someday. Thanks for the stories and laughssmilie I wonder if all the sportsclips have the airplanes, etc. We have one near us, but I haven't been there yet. I might have to try it with Ryan. He fusses when we get a haircut and I am already paying $15 without tip.

Love and miss you!
Brittany

MessageHi Laura,
I wrote you a response and it disappeared. Any way, I loved the story about Jackson's haircuts. It is a real event for him and you and Matt seem to enjoy the perks, too.
Love,
Mom
