MessageLess than two weeks ago I found a walnut sized mass under our 12.7 y/o girl Gwen's right lower mandibular (jaw). We went to our Vet's and they referred us to the U of Wisconsin Vet Hospital where a biopsy was done. Today Gwen had surgery to remove the mass. The surgeon called to tell me that it is much more aggressive and involved than was thought. So we now have to wait for the pathology report to come back from the surgery and then we have to see what options we have. Please keep Gwen in your thoughts and prayers. We just want the best for Gwen and for her to be able to enjoy her remaining days happy and comfortable with her animal siblings and her human family members. She is deeply loved and we have truly been blessed to have had her for the last 12.7 years!

MessageOur sweet 2 year old girl, Reeses was just recently diagnosed with lymphoma (cancer of the lymph nodes). Testing is still being done to determine the extent and severity. She has lost over 15lbs. And refuses to eat on her own. She is just not the happy go lucky loving puppy that we all love and know. She has no energy and barely even responds to anyone she used to come running to. Please pray for her. I am doing what I can by force feeding her and I am going to start her on some essiac tea. Please pray for healing. We put our faith and trust in God to heal and protect her. Thank you for your prayers. They are greatly appreciated!

MessageI was reading the prayer list and Amy's message (from July 15) caught my attention because we just found out that my pal "Patches" has lung cancer too. He's 17 years old, very weak. I need some advise on the meds that will keep him comfortable. All I have is liquid steroids and an appetite stimulant. Is there anything else? He has been such a good dear friend. It won't be long now. Please join me in praying that he goes quickly and peacefully in his sleep.

MessageLouise is an 8 year old Rottweiler. She was diagnosed with both types of cancer in her intenstines, as well as possible liver cancer/failure as well. She was diagnosed approximately 3 weeks ago. We are still in shock, she is part of our family and like a child to us. We decided not to do the surgery as the vet was unsure that she would even make it through. As an alternative we are taking the hollistic approach. Our hollistic vet has been an amazing help to us both. She is taking 4 CAS vitamins a day, 4000 units of vitamin d. Another herb called xue fu zhu you tang twice a day. As well as a homeopathic mixture 4 times a day. She also takes 4 mg of naltrexone at 10 pm every night. She has up and down days. But every day extra is a blessing from God. Please pray for a miracle for our "wheezy". And to everyone else struggling with this terrible disease..... My prayers are with you too! God bless

MessagePlease pray for Kodi a beautiful sweet husky who lives in New Jersey. He has myasthenia gravis and now just diagnosed with a mast cell tumor. His surgery is on Thursday and we are so fearful of the anesthesia because with MG his lungs could shut down. Please say a prayer for Kodi that he comes through this surgery well and they get all the cancer also that he has a speedy recovery. God Bless you all for your prayers.
