| Message | My beloved Beijo has bone cancer in her front left leg. Beijo is 13. I got her when I was in my mid 20s and single, and she's moved around the country with me, being my constant companion, confidante....My Person. If I had a nickel for each time someone said they don't particularly like little dogs but they love Beijo. I'm so distraught. I have a 4-month old daughter, and it breaks my heart that she may not grow up knowing the joy Beijo brings. Amputation (not chemo) is the recommended course of action, but given her age we decided against that. So we have her on a variety of pain killers & anti-inflammatories, plus a plethora of homeopathic remedies. Other than that, we're relying on prayer to keep her comfortable and even heal her! We're not going down without a fight! <3 |

| Message | Buddy had surgery in late September to remove a tumor from his left lung. In less than a month the tumor grew back. On Monday I took Buddy to Tufts for an oncology consult. The doctors could not believe how well Buddy was doing given the size of the tumor. By Tuesday Buddy was admitted and on Wednesday he was placed in oxygen in the ICU. | Message | Brandy Anne Hinkle is 9 years old and was tentatively diagnosed on Tuesday, 10/27 with Lymphoma. She is scheduled to have a lymph node removed from her right hind quarter tomorrow. I ask that prayers yield positive results and that it may be just an infection. I also ask that should the test results show cancer that getting Chemo therapy will extend her quality of life. I have not stopped crying since I have found out. Brandy is my best friend. She has given my husband and I so much love, companionship, years of fun and memories. Right now as is normal, she is top priority in our lives. I ask for prayer to heal her and to give her the strength to fight on. I hope and pray that all pets are held in the loving arms of God. | Message | Otis, is an adorable 10-1/2 year old male, yellow lab. Last week he was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Our entire family is heartbroken! He is on prednisone which is helping him temporarily. We pray he lasts until my son can get home from college and with extended high hopes for us to spend the holidays with Otis. Otis loves many thing and everyone but his favorite treat is retrieving the newspaper in the morning. Prayers for Otis would be appreciated! |
