MessageOur Magnus has a growth in his spleen, he has surgery in the morning, our vet believes it's cancer. We are praying it will come back bening..With removing the Spleen we are told we will possibly get 4 more months with him. He is 11 we have had him since he was 2months. I am not prepared to loose him. I will be grateful for 4 more months, but want a lifetime. It will be hard to move on when he is gone. He is my hiking buddy!! I LOVE HIM so very very much.

MessageKatie, a 14 yr old mini poodle was diagnosed with malignant breast cancer last week. My vet removed a lump when Katie began licking it constantly. There were malignant cells in the margins of the removed tissue so we are going in for another surgery on May 28th. I lost Katies' little sister Molly on May 24, 2006 to liver cancer. I don't want to lose Katie to cancer as well.

SHE IS A "LITTLE ANGEL"... MY MAIN EXTREME CONCERN IS FOR MY FATHER... WE HAVE LOST "ALL" OF OUR IMMEDIATE FAMILY- AS WELL AS EXTENDED FAMILY OVER THE LAST 20 YEARS - AND PRINCESS IS "ALL"--- MY 80 YEAR OLD FATHER --- HAS LEFT.! HE (AND I) -----HER SO, SO, SO VERY -, VERY MUCH!!!

MessageMy husband is deployed right now and his #1 son, Buffmeister, has resently had surgery for a cancerous kidney that was hemorraging and causing his great pain and discomfort. We are unsure if it had spread as there aren't to many types of sarcomas that do spread, however the ones that do are quite nasty. Surgery was a success and was about a month ago. He seems ok and we have him on a brand new cancer drug. Buff is the comeback kid, he is 14 and still alert as can be. However, I am not sure if it is the new meds, but he seems distant and the light in his eyes just isn't there like before. I hope it's the meds. We will know in a couple of months if it has spread when he is retested. Please pray for remission for our buddy Buff. He's been a good dog and I want my hubby to see him atleast one more time.
