Please pray for these two incredibly sweet dogs and for my daughter, who is their "mom". She is devastated.

Please offer your prayers for Rowdy's healing. He is such a blessing and has been for over 10 years. His lymphoma was disgnosed in February and he has been doing well with herbal treatments. However, a week ago the lymphoma began taking over. He will have a clinical workup with an oncoligst Thursday, June 11. Please pray that that experience is not too hard on him. Please pray that I will make the right choices for him. Please pray that his litter mate will live a long and good life. Thank you all.

Duece has been my best friend for 7 years now. He has been through everything with me. He has taught me so many life lessions. I have recently lost a younger brother in a motorcycle accident and 6 months later my aunt to cancer and all the while he was my comfort. He knew when I was hurting and always made a special effort to let me know that he was there for me. He is a fighter and I just want him to know that I will be there for him just like he has been there for me. I love him so much.

Augie's lymphoma is out of remission. The vets said he is in hospice care at this point, with various complications, but he wanted a cheeseburger (my cheeseburger) on the drive home. He is an amazing strong willed, beautiful boy, he is a fighter, and I know he lives for me. I love him so much. I pray to the doggie angels to provide some sort of miracle so that he can get up on his own and enjoy walking the fields again for a while longer. Thank you for your prayers.

Please pray for my beloved princess Sambuca. I love her more than life itself and I cannot imagine how I'm going to deal with losing her. Right now, she still looks happy, gives kisses and likes to cuddle, but the vet says we only have a month left. Please God, help us with this.

My 9-year-old Leia responded so well to the first round of chemo that it almost allowed us a feeling of being able to beat it. The first remission lasted only 5 1/2 months. I refuse to calculate the money spent; it doesn't matter anyway. She is such a big part of my heart. She still has her spirit and will and is herself with the exception of a couple days following treatment. To this point the second round has not been as effective. This past week, we went back to the doxirubicin (sp?). It seems such a shame that there is nothing out there to permanently beat this horrible disease. We will continue to fight as much as we can. I would consider the bone marrow transplant if it was anywhere near affordable. I have learned that, for me, the only approach is to be naively optimistic, to hope and to pray that God may place His healing hand on my Leia. There will be a time for mourning one day. God willing, that will still be some time away. God can do what people cannot and with God all things are possible. Thank you for your prayers. It is our greatest weapon and resource in this battle.
