Type of Cancerhemangiosarcoma
MessageJojo was "off" his game a month ago Yesterday he was obviously swollen and not moving well. Our vet diagnosed hemangiosarcoma, most likely the spleen based on the removal of several tubes of blood from the abdomen. He was 8 years old 13 Oct, and has been a gentle, generous, loving dog all his life. We pray for a peaceful passing, for his last days to be as precious to him as they are to us, and we ask that he does not suffer. He is lying next to me on the love seat, his afghan over him, sleeping quietly. He sleeps in our bed at night, and pray he slips quietly home from there. We are prepared, if we have to, as much as we can be, to keep him from suffering. He is beloved in our neighborhood, and we have a Pet Pilgrimage friend...and he will be with his beloved Lillie DuFran in the same maple urn.

Type of Cancerhemangiosarcoma
MessageMy precious bailey Mae was diagnosed on Sunday. We refuse to let this horrible disease take my baby! She has had three good days in a row. I have switched her diet to all natural and organic and have started her on a regimen of raw goats milk and 4life transfer plus animal stress packs... I believe in the power of prayer and the power of love. Bailey is my heart-She is my child, my best friend, my soul mate. Please lift her up in prayer.

Type of CancerMast Cell Tumor
MessageBella is our loving 8 year old deaf boxer and was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor on her left rear leg this summer. We had to have her left leg removed to keep the cancer from spreading to her lymph node. We started chemo treatment about 5 weeks ago and on a recent check up, found that the cancer has entered one of her lymph nodes above the amputated leg. We are currently trying another type of chemo to see if it can be sent into remission. She has won the hearts of the doctors, students and receptionists who have been working with us through this tough time. Even through all of this, Bella is still a very active 3 legged family member that will not give up.

Type of CancerOsteosarcoma
MessagePlease pray for our sweet Baxter, he has an inoperable osteosarcoma in his lower jaw. He has completed palliative radiation and is going in for round three of chemo to help prevent mets and hopefully shrink the tumor. The tumor has gotten smaller for sure, and he had a terrible infection from the three surgeries on his mouth and the radiation burns that seems to be under control now. He is getting back to himself, after two months of treatment, and we just celebrated his 9th birthday over the weekend. He has so much love and I pray every day for him to heal and also say a prayer of thanks that we have made it this far. We almost lost him and there were certainly docs that didn't give him this long, much less this long and this happy!

I will pray for each and every one of the dogs battling for their lives against cancer. I believe in the power of prayer and I believe that miraculous things can happen. I will also pray for all of the moms and dads suffering alongside their fur babies. I know cancer has taken its awful toll on all of us too.
