| Message | Rex is our very much loved Border Collie who is 8 years and 9 months old. He was diagnosed with a liver tumour 5 weeks ago which had ruptured. A biopsy suggested it was a low grade cancer and he had surgery to remove it. The tumour was removed successfully however when the pathology results came back after the surgery, the results came back as hemangiosarcoma :( Rex is very much one of the family and I cannot bear the thought of losing him. He has a mate at home too, Roxy (also a Border Collie) who missed him so much while he was away for just a few days for surgery, and she would be absolutely devestated to lose him as well. Rex is such a wonderful dog and he has the most beautiful personality ever. He showers us with kisses and cuddles and everyone who meets him falls in love with him. He has just started chemotherapy today (doxorubicin) so I am hoping that he won't have any nasty side effects from that and that it will allow him to have a lot more time with us. Please help me to pray for a miracle that Rex will beat the odds and somehow beat this cancer completely so that he may live a long, healthy and happy life Mindy |

| Message | Charley is our 2.5 year old chocolate lab who was diagnosed with osteosaroma (OSA) in his left proximal humerus on 10-19-10. He had his left front leg amputated on 10-28-10 and he has had 2 rounds (of 5 total) of Carboplatin chemotherapy. Charley is our only child and he picked us as his parents when he was 5 weeks old. Charley came to live with us in his new forever home when he was 8 weeks old. We watched a brown ball of puppy energy grow into a well-mannered companion over the last 2.5 years. We had big plans for Charley until our dreams were shattered on 10-19-10 when we received the news that Charley had OSA. Charley is very handsome and people frequently stop to look at him and comment on his beauty. He is a momma's boy and is typically following me around or is found laying right next to me. Charley is very intelligent, a quick learner and eager to please. He loves people and has never met a stranger. Charley is a loving boy with soulful eyes and the best friend that my husband and I wanted to share our home with. Charley doesn't know he is sick and we are trying very hard to spend each day living with cancer, not dying from cancer. Unfortunately OSA has a poor prognosis, but we are not giving up hope and we are going to fight this battle until Charley tells us that our battle is over. HOPE...Hang On to Positive Energy. | Message | We adopted Turner almost 3 years ago after our Walker Hound, Cal, died of Hemangiosarcoma. Our lab, Charlie, was so depressed we let her pick out her new brother and we love Turner with all of our hearts. I can't stand the thought of losing another dog to cancer and we are just devastated. We have decided to make his last months comfortable and happy, and know he will let us know when he is ready to meet Cal over the Rainbow Bridge...... |

| Message | Little K-8 was diagnosed with Lymphoma 11/2010. She is now on the doxorubicin - predizone therapy. "Katie Potatie" as she is often called is a hunting beagle, one that in the hound community, would be called a "Natural". Her love of life, humans, our other dogs, and the hunt encompasses her soul. Never have I had the privilege of sharing the life of such a wonder of Gods creatures. I know that her time here on earth is limited, I ask that a prayer in her name be sent; that she continue to enjoy each day; and that the therapy allows her the quality of life to continue the hunt. | Message | We just found out about Spike's illness. I'm not sure what to do at this point. We need Spike to get better, not only for us, but especially for his sister Molly. | Message | Our 7 yr old baby was recently dx with stage 4 lymphoma. He is receiving chemotherapy and lots of love to help him beat this nasty invader. Up until 2 wks ago, you would have never known anything was wrong. We took him for a routine check up and was given this terrible news. We are very optimistic in hopes that we can beat this! | Message | Please pray for our beloved dog Cobb, who is starting chemo and radiation for thyroid and lung cancer. He was a rescue with heartworm when we found him, and we are heartbroken about this diagnosis. He was a rescue dog who abandoned with heartworm and we adopted him and he fought through the heartworm treatment 5 years ago. We have always thought of him as our God Dog, and believe he was a gift from Him. |
