However, in the past month, we are beginning to see signs of cancer's return (bleeding). | Message | I've never been much for prayer, but right now I have to believe in something. My best friend Rocky, a 10 year-old Sheltie was diagnosed yesteray with Osteosarcoma in his front leg. We have our first meeting with the Oncologist tomorrow. What I've read is very depressing and I'm sad in the deepest way. Rocky's grand father died at 10 from a gallbladder issue. That was only 3 years ago, and at least then I had Rocky at home to. Rocky is the most loving and compassionate friend one could have, so please pray for him. |

| Message | We took are dog to the vet as she was showing signs of distress. She is only 10 years old. The news was dire. Not only was her heart not well, but she had carcinoma under her tongue. The surgery would be quite evasive and would not buy her much time. Perhaps just a few months if she made it through surgery. And having her go through all of this pain & suffering would be very questionable. We have decided to lover her and enjoy the days we have left with her. She has already beaten the doctor’s odds. She still has bouts of friskiness, but is resting much-much more. The faint bleeding from her mouth continues as the carcinoma gets bigger. Everyday I say a healing prayer. Please pray for her. |

| Message | Out of desperation I have resorted to a trial drug for the tumour in bella's shoulder as we have no other options. Due to the location and size of the tumor and the amount of nerve endings and blood vessels in the area, surgery is not possible. Chemotherapy hasnt worked and radiotherapy isnt available to us. Im praying that this drug works for Bella and will post another message with the outcome in the hope that it might be helpful to others. Bella is the love of my life and my heart goes out to everyone in this horrible situation. FYI: The drug is called ebc-46 and is available in a few select vets in australia as a trial drug. I only found out about this by accident on google and there is limited info about it. If anyone else has used this drug please comment about it. |
