He has been with us for so long now that it is hard to imagine life without him. He is about to have a cat scan on Monday which will give a better indication on how to proceed. We love our dog and hope we will be strong enough to make some important decisions for him.Your prayers will help us with that. | Message | Dodger turned 7 on Christmas day 2010 and was diagnosed with stage 1 lymphoma on Christmas Eve. our hearts are broke as Dodger is of course part of the family. Dodger is gentle, loving We pray daily for Dodger's healing. I light candles, go to chapel, get on my knees and ask The Lord to heal Dodger's horrible disease. And 5 months later he is still here and I thank God for that. But Monday's appt. did not go so well When diagnosed they said he is one in a million as stage one is rarely diagnosed. We noticed a lump on his neck and sadly it was cancer. We started him on oral chemo therapy alongside with prendisone. He has tolerated all meds. well, but the problem is he has great results and then they stop working and the nodes flare up and we have to try a new chemo yesterday and its down to the last option as far as oral chemo goes. He has slowed way down, breathing is difficult because the disease is on his neck. And now he has stage 3.. :( I pray that the new meds. shrink his cancer and he is put into remission. I believe and know that God is bigger than this horrible disease and all things are possible God willing. Lord please don't take Dodger from us, heal him through your grace. Heavenly Father have mercy on Dodger please. Amen |
