MessagePlease pray for our beautiful female black lab Casey. She will be 11 in October if she makes it that long. She has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. The only treatment option is amputation and chemotherapy. We are reluctant to take that route, considering both her age and the expense. Also, the tumor is on her upper left front leg, and although assured they always walk afterwards it concerns us as the only way out of our home requires manuevering many steps. How do know if we are wrong to not seek treatment and just try to keep her comfortable? The pain is getting progressively worse.
