MessageMy sweet, sweet girl Ellie Mae, "ellie bean" to my little ones. Has bone cancer in her femur bone. Diagnosed on 8/7/11. We decided not to put her through the stress of surgery, or chemo. Her outlook with it would only be maybe a year. She is 8 1/2. We would rather have the quality of her life to be comfortably, then the quanity of time that we have left. I don't know what I'll do without my girl in my life. I love her so much. Please pray for us to have the strength to say goodbye when the time comes, and to help her cross over to make the rainbow connection. As I say a prayer for all of you. God Bless.

MessageDougie/Doug Doug, the most loving, beautiful black lab has been diagniosed this week with sarcoma in the pelvis. It is enormous and cannot be removed nor will chemo help. We are awaiting final test results but it is pretty definite that he will have to be put to sleep. I can't bear the thought of life without him but am taking comfort that we are not alone in the world. Lots of love and prayers to all of you and all the lovely dogs in this horrible situation.

MessageI had posted back in June to pray for my Liebe as I knew our time was limited. I had to put her to sleep today b/c it was time. She was a beautiful lady with a beautiful heart. My heart is broken, but it does give me some consolation that we had our special time plus she went very peacefully in my arms. She is now over the rainbow, & I *know* that she is now healthy, running, & playing, & one day, we will see each other again. I am hurting & yes I am crying too. I will pray for all the dogs & their parents who are having to deal with this awful disease, & please pray for me to let my days get easier. THERE IS NO LOVE LIKE THE LOVE OF OUR DOGS!!!! MessageOur beloved hunting companion tore up his knee in July. We were trying to keep him calm, hoping it would heal on its own. During this past month he developed @ 7 small bumps, thought to be bug bites, those spots grew to marble size in 2 weeks. We had them removed for biopsy, only to have Vet tell us that an x-ray revealed these MCTs all over his internal organs. He has remained calm, but his knee won't heal due to the grave condition of his health. We are saddened by the sudden turn of events and pray for a miracle. Thank you for your prayers.

MessageMy 8-year old Shelby had her spleen removed on 8/3/11 and we were told that this cancer is extremely aggressive. Her life expectancy without chemo is less than 4 months. Even with chemo it's only 6-10 months. We don't plan on doing chemo but are willing to try anything else that would help her. We are going to keep her as comfortable as possible until her time comes. Please pray for our beloved Shelby.

MessageMy little Sassy will have a tumor removed Thursday. She needs a lot of prayer! I do not know if the tumor is cancerous yet but after reading the info on this site I am VERY concerned. She needs prayer as do I as well.
