Type of CancerINTESTINAL
MessageMy Boston swallowed a ball over a year ago, I've estimated, and when they did a biopsy to see what the mass in his intestines were they found the ball. I am clearly convinced that the petroleum and rubber products slowly leeched into his system and caused the cancer. The vets were amazed at the size of it and how he could have possibly swallowed something that big!

BreedBlack Labrador
StateGeorgia
Type of CancerLymphoma
MessageOur boy Butch is a black lab, 8 years old and has lymphoma. He was diagnosed last Spring and has been on chemo ever since.

Butch and his brother, Sundance are truly gifts from Heaven. When my husband and I were at our very lowest, darkest place (Our 3 dogs passed away within a 6 month period), we found Butch and Sundance at our local humane society. They looked so similar to our other two labs who had recently passed (Max and Angel -- rescued from a nearby highway), that we felt it was a sign. It turns out that their personalities are very similar too. We always say that THEY rescued US.

We love them so much. The bond of brothers is seen in everything they do. Butch is clearly the big brother and is very protective of Sundance. The two are very close and go everywhere together. They actually LOVE going to see our Vet and his staff. We even had a birthday party there to celebrate their birthday last June. Butch is very rambunctious and makes everyone laugh. Whenever they're in the clinic, assistants make a point of stopping by to see and pet them.

They have brought so much joy to so many, and deserve a longer time together. We fear Sundance will be lost without him. Please pray for our boy, Butch and allow his light to continue.
