| Message | My female dog Piper just turned nine years old on Oct.7. On Sept. 10, 2012 she started limping. Hip radiographs did not show any neoplasia. Piper failed to respond to anti-inflammatories. A ultrasound was performed and a mass was detected. A CT scan was performed and a larger mass was found in her inguinal area. Trucut biopsy was done and prelimanry reports show that she has hemangiosarcoma. Piper is a very important part of our family and we love her dearly. Our hearts are heavy with this diagnosis. |

| Message | Our little Daisy Mae, age 12, was diagnosed in May 2012 with an inoperable brain tumor. Radiation or chemo is of no value either. Put her on phenobarbitol and had been doing well until 2 weeks ago when the seizures came back. Doubled the dose last week. Pressure on her brain has caused her to change her personality to occassional aggression and the phenobarbitol makes her so loopy. She is a loving girl and loves her mama so! Vet gave her 6 months to live. We are trying everything we can to shrink the tumor and give her the best quality of life. We just take 1 day at a time- not sure of what will happen next- and we pray everyday that the good Lord will help us. We lost our little scottie dog girl Kelsey, from malignant melanoma. She was supposed to only live for 6 months too but she lived 2 more years-with good diet and good care. She and Daisy Mae were best buddies. |

He started his first chemo treatment yesterday and has pretty much everything going against him. She is currently having reactions to the new treatment. She is only 5 years old and a rescue dog. She is such an excellent companion and guard dog. She is truly a great part of the family.
