| Message | Our 13 yr old beautiful, parti-colored B&W Cocker Spaniel was diagnosed 1-11-13 on my youngest son's birthday. Cancer is very aggressive and though she is not in pain, she is uncomfortable. I have owned dogs all my life but none like this one. She is the sweetest dog you can imagine. Gentle to children, thinks she is one of the family, goes on vacations, stays by your side when you are ill (nana dog). Treated our guinea pig like he was her puppy, loved our parakeet. Say a prayer for her please? |

| Message | I felt a growth on my dog a few weeks ago and looked at it and decided I would take her to the doctor that weekend. She located it herself and started biting at it and scratching it. I took her to the doctor this past Saturday because I noticed she made it bleed. The doctor put her on antibiotics and told me we would wait to see if the antibiotics helped dry it up. If not, we would have to run test to see if it's something elase. Please pray my baby, SAFI. She is such a SWEET dog. I love her very much. |

| Message | Just back from the vet's office with a diagnosis of lymphoma for our girl, Lucy. She is 10 years old now but still seems very healthy except for very swollen lymph nodes. We probably will not try chemotherapy, not because we don't love her and want to keep her around, but we're not sure it's worth it. Survival rates aren't all that impressive. Lucy can be a difficult dog-she doesn't like anyone but her family-but that's because she was with people who mistreated her and then abandoned her. Many people would have given up on her before now but I always knew she was trying her hardest to be a good girl and I couldn't give up on her for things that weren't her fault. Please pray for her, that she might beat this and live longer than the 6 months they gave her. Failing that, pray that she doesn't suffer and that she feels like she's been loved and had a good life. When you choose to share you life with animals you accept that they don't live as long as you would like them to but it's still very hard when it comes to the end of their time. Thank you. |

| Message | Autumn (8 yrs.) was diagnosed with lung cancer on 1/11/13 and given one month to live. She's having difficulty breathing and eating less. We believe in the power of prayer and want to know we did all that we could to help her. God can perform miracles and we're hoping Autumn will be one of them. She always greets us with a smile, a toy, a wagging tail and gives us unconditional love. We're not ready to let her go. Please pray for her and us too - she needs a miracle. Thank you! |

| Message | Bessie had her first tumor removed this past May and now it's back. She's 10 and her options will be limited as it's super aggressive. As I wait for the test results back I think about an article that I "happen" to have read in my local paper. A woman who's husband has terminal cancer wrote "there is no funeral today, so I will live every moment with my beloved to the fullest." So- that's my only plan for now. Please include Bessie in your prayers as you will be included in ours. Many thanks for this great community. Suddenly not feeling so alone... xo |

| Message | Please pray for Tasha. I adopted her 1 year ago after they amputated her leg because of cancer. She was an abused and sick dog when I got her. She is loving life now and this is why it is so sad that her cancer is back and in her lungs now too. She has been a light for me because I lost my dog Lydia a few months before I adopted her. She is an angel in disquise and I just want her to be able to live and be happy. We did try chemo and had some surgeries too but the cancer is just too far now. Please pray for her. She is loved so much. Thank you and Thank you God for letting me have her in my life. |
