MessageToday my husband and I just put down our beloved dog of 13 years, Kes, who was diagnosed with lung cancer just two days ago. I can't put into words the incredible pain that I, and my 9 yr. old son especially, are feeling now. I had to look at the chest X-rays one more time before proceeding with the procedure just to make sure this was the best decision. I held Kes' head and looked into her eyes when she received her shot. I and my family miss her deeply. The love from our pets--my dog--is so different--so pure, so deep, so unconditional. Kes was an incredible dog. Just with a heart of gold. We are so lucky to have her in our lives. To Kes, we hope you are enjoying heaven. You will always be in our hearts and thoughts. Love you always.

He was diagnosed 9 mths. ago.We have treated him with medication however, he seems to be getting worse and worse.Bleeding most of the time and struggling to urinate. Please pray that he passes peacefully, and feels no more pain, as he will be resting in the arms of the angels tonight.

Type of Canceradrenal mass maybe carcinoma
MessageJulie is a 15yr old rotti/Sheppard mix who was fine this past mid december. Then all of a sudden she had hind leg weakness and it was determined by cat scan and melogram that she had a herniated disk. A few weeks later she was also diagnosed with diabetes and further abdominal ultrasound determined she has a mass on her left adrenal gland that is invading her left renal vein. Currently on pain medication and insulin, once the right dosage of insuline is determined to control her diabetes then her cancer treatment will start to shrink the cancer mass and rehab to help her walk again. Please pray for my dog that all will go well with her cancer treatment with no side effects. Because she has multiple health issues side effects can complicate her treatment. Thank you.

MessagePlease bear with me. An hour ago, my vet called. I prayed that my Sam's ill health was due to a bad tooth. Dr. Rubin picked him up to clean his teeth but still felt the sickness was more serious. I sat here praying that he was wrong. Now I'm numb. I've read how long our babies can live with "lung tumours." Dr. Rubin says it doesn't have to be "today" but if Sam's in pain what to do?

Thanks for your prayers and know that your'e in mine! ¬ Love to all ¬ Janet

MessagePlease say prayers for our beloved black lab, Shadow. We are waiting on the results of his biopsy, but the vet fears the worst. He has a large tumor on his left hind quarter that goes deep in to the muscle. He is 13, and is the only dog our two sons have ever known. We are heartbroken at the thought of losing him.

Type of CancerHemangiosarcoma
MessageScout suddenly started acting odd two weeks ago after we had fed him dinner, we took him to emergency vet that night, to find out he had tumors on his spleen that had ruptured & he had internal bleeding. He had surgery the next morning to remove the spleen & is doing well now, but vet gave him 2 months at most, since the tumor had ruptured. Its heartbreaking knowing the end is near & you can't do anything to help him or not knowing how or when it will happen. Vet said more than likely he will have internal bleeding again & that that will be it. I feel guilty every time I leave the house, I want to spend as much time as possible with him & I don't want anything to happen to him while I am away. I pray he will not be in pain & pass peacefully. He will be dearly missed by my husband & I & our other 2 chocolate labs Macy & Tori.

MessageMy Macy passed away yesterday due to Hemangiosarcome, a horriable disease of tumors that started into her spleen and spread into her chest. She had difficuly breathing so we took her to the vet the xrays showed tumors, fluid build up, and anemia- because of the tumors rupturing she would have internally filled with fluid and bled to death. She was our princess and we love her very much and will miss her greatly. She left a pawprint on our hearts, and I thank God I had her in my life. We love you Macy and we will see you again.
