| Message | Last month our lab appeared to be choking, but turned out she was diagnosed with bronchitis, possible asthma. She was given a shot of cortozon (sp?) and some antibiotics. Some improvement, but took her back two weeks ago for pain after she became lame after our walk. She got another shot. Her breathing has become very labored and I noticed urine leakage. Took her in today and got blood work and an X-ray. Without question, she has a large tumor and another mass in her lung. She is one month shy of turning 8. Just lost our beloved Eddy, a 9 yr. old JRT to osteosarcoma less than one year ago. We are devastated. According to what I saw on the X-ray and have read, she is in the latter stage. Your prayers that we can all get through this once again are appreciated. Not fair! |

| Message | Yesterday, Saturday, our beautiful Golden Retreiver Sugar, was diagnosed with a very aggresive form of cancer in her spleen; Hemangiosarcoma. Tomorrow, she will have surgery to determine if the cancer has spread. If we're lucky, her spleen will be removed and it's very possible we'll have her for another year. At this point, we don't know if we'll be saying "see you soon"....or "good-bye" tomorrow. He is quite simply my heart and I am devastated that he has this disease...though I know and really feel how blessed I am that he is in my life I am so afraid...I am walking in faith and treating him at Purdue. I have had a miracle with my little Moly girl who was a star and survived 5 full yrs having been treated for lymphoma...5 yrs!!!!So now this...I don't want to whine I just ask that you pray for mine and I will keep everyone's sweet babies in my heart and prayers too!! | Message | Our best boy, our German Shepherd Aegis, has been Dx with Lymphoma. Honestly, he's the best dog anyone could ever ask for, and we've been lucky to share every minute of his 9 years. He has been in good health up until this time, so we're going to fight, and keep him with us for as long as his quality of life is good. Pray for us as we find the right treatment and that it will put him into complete remission and that the remission will remain. |
