MessageWe have lost two dogs to cancer in the last few years. Can you pray for Bridey who has a breast lump. She may be able to have it removed if it has not spread to her chest. You can send e-mails to my e-mail address to let me know if there is anything we can do to help fight cancer in dogs. We are not rich but we would like to do things to help.

BreedChow/Shepherd mix
StateSC
Type of Cancerbone cancer, pelvic
MessageDaizy is my 'beautimous', most loving, sweet and funny companion of 14 years, 3 1/2 months. She is my best friend, 'dogter', and has kept me putting one foot in front of the other for the last 6 1/2 years. We've been through a lot together after losing her sister to cancer a little over 6 yrs ago. Until June 1st of 2013, she acted more like a 3 to 4 year old dog than a 14 year old. She hit her back very hard on a wooden plank on a bed, began limping significantly and within 3 days had a large mass on her right 'hip'. The vet said after X-rays that she had a pelvic tumor (inoperable) that he suspected had been growing for at least a month, but the trauma to her back had most likely caused rapid cell growth. She is eating better now after a month on 2 canine supplements, but has difficulty walking and esp. getting up and down. I cherish every day, every moment with her. She is my one and only and best friend. Your prayers for her comfort are very much appreciated.

MessageMy dog was diagnosed with cancer, three months ago, and I may be losing her now. Please pray for Emily, my little Beagle/Cocker Spaniel mix. She is my heart. I tried to leave her with my mother, whilst I was doing other things (rushing around trying to think of something, stressing and not wanting her to know it), and she was stumbling around looking for me, so I have to get back to my baby.

It's so awful that anyone - pet or human, has to go through this. I lost a dog to cancer, twenty-three years ago, and my cousin, two years ago - a family friend, too, twenty-three years ago. I hate this so much.

BreedJack Russell Terrier
StateBC
Type of CancerLymphosarcoma
MessageBauer is such a sweet girl. She's 14 but still acts like a puppy. We tried chemo but one round caused decreased white blood count, and pancreatitis which led to a couple of nights at emergency and at our regular vet. So chemo is no longer an option.

Bauer has such a huge personality and fills each day with humor, silliness, cuddles and love. I hope we have many more to come. I appreciate all the positive energy and prayers.
