| Message | I've been living with complications from Chiari since age 13 (1970) I had what was considered a Chiari II in 1974 I knew little to nothing about Chiari until May of 2006. Reading about others with Chiari has helped me very much I'm not very good with computer it bothers my neck very much. I have Chiari along with a Large Cervical syrinx from C2 to C7 and Basilar Invagination which is flattening the Medulla of the Brain Stem according to MRI's. I have an appt. for TCI in Oct. they have already seen my MRI's and noted the problems I have mentioned.I hope Chiari starts getting the Awareness it needs,We as Chiarians need to be noticed. | Message | Hi Janice, I thought I would read your blog today and send you a message this way. I am so sorry to hear how you are feeling. I can totally relate, my pain level has been through the roof! Janice I also understand your emotions as I do at times question why God keeps me here. Lord knows there have been days I have prayed he takes me home, but we don't get to decide that and he knows our purpose for staying. There are times though that I simply lose my will to live and curl up inside myself. Please remember how many people you are helping and the lives you are touching.
