| Message | Thank you for setting us the blog. It has been a delight to see pictures of old friends and growing families.It is also a privilege to know how to lift you up to our savior and only hope. Less anyone should forget let me remind you that suffering enables you to see and know your dependence on the Lord. It is an opportunity to love and know Him even more. I pray that you will be able to focus on that Biblical truth. I hope you see this truth as an encouragement from me. I will continue to pray that He preserve your life in His righteousness. |

| Message | Hi Jack and Karen, Can't stop thinking about you, won't stop praying for you. So, you shot an 82, huh? Well, I would've shot an 82 if it weren't for the five errant tee shots, the "yips" with the putter, and well, you get the picture.  I've been thinking about how incredible you are as my big brother and also how incredible you have been as a U.S. Marine. You once shared in an email exchange about a Vietnam experience with some tigers, cobras, and a frog. I said something about Dad would have done anything to help you when you were in combat. Your reply confirmed that he had once sent you a letter of support after you had been awarded the Bronze Star Medal for heroic achievement. He let you know that he was with you in spirit in whatever you were doing...and he reminded you not to put bravado before common sense. I suppose that a part of the "great cloud of witnesses surrounding us" (Heb. 12:1-2), includes Dad and our loved ones in heaven who support us in wonderful ways. You said, "even though, Dad may have been thousands of miles away from me, I felt his presence in a mighty way." Amen! I know that you (as all your siblings), still feel the presence, love, and connectedness of Dad and Mom. I love you and Karen and your great family.
