MessageI'm an ATF employee and I had the pleasure of working with Tami several years ago. She always spoke so lovingly of her family. As a cancer survivor, I know it's scary but you have the support and love of those around you. Just remember to talk a walk everyday if you can, rest as you need it, and eat soothing food to counteract the effects of the treatments and chemicals. More importantly know that you're in our prayers.

We enjoyed seeing Jack and Karen a week ago while in Williamsburg. In between your hiccups, you were upbeat and full of humor. You are in our prayers constantly. Isn't is incredible that one of the 8 facilities in the country that offers this type of radiation, is in Williamsburg...Glad to hear the plan is in place and am so happy you are confident in your team of doctors.

Ken and I are available for anything you need Jack. We will keep on praying.
Love Diane and Ken

MessageSo good to read that the plan is in place. It feels good to know there is something definite in motion so the cancer can be attacked. We will continue to pray for you Jack, and the rest of your family. God will continue to work in your life through this as a testimony to Him.
Love, The BB Daniel's

MessageDad.

When we heard about this at first I made one of my typical Jon statements to Jeni. The jist of it was that alot of emotional things are getting ready to happen or be said. You and I need to look at the facts as they come and maintain composure. Emotion will not help others without a factual logical response. Wrong again !

Not since that nght have I showed my emotinal side about the current events. Until reading what is posted here. You have and will continue to touch many lives. I thank all those who have posted here and given support. The only factual statement, I can offer, is God is not caught of guard by this. He is not developing a backup plan. Nor is He looking to Jesus or the Holy Spirit for their thoughts on what to do next. He is still on plan A for your life.

Dont tell God how big your mountains are. Tell the mountains how big your God is.
Joel Osteen

Therefore be not anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself . Suffucient for the day is its own trouble.
Mat 6:34

We love you,
Jeni, Lidia, Jessie, Jon

P.S. Thanks Tami for the wonderful job here. Outstanding and I am very thankful.
Jon

MessageTami - Thank you so much for the update of Jack's Journey this past week. Knowing Jack and Karen, I'm sure that there is some relief in learning that there is a strong plan of attack against this cancer. When you have a plan to follow, you take back some control over this awful disease and can begin to move forward in getting rid of it.

Many in McKinney,Texas are praying for you, as are all of our family. You've already discovered that this is not just Jack's Journey but one that all of you are on with him. God bless each of you, and we'll be praying for comfort and peace for all as you wait for the treatment to begin.

You are loved!!! smilie

MessageTo Jack and Family,
when I first met you, I found you to be one of the most caring and loving people I have ever met in my life. You seemed to be so full of energy and love for others. Especially for these reasons, I was so sorry when Sandi told me about your illness.
Stay the way you are and I am sure with God's help you will get through these hard times. I wish you all the best! Stay positive and always have a smile on your face! smilie
Lots of Love, Laura

MessageHey Jack and Karen,
I don't know if your remember me, but I used to go to KCC ('94-'99) I was active in drama. I was so sorry to hear about your illness. However, I'm encouraged about the laparoscopic surgery. I'm so glad you have a blog with which to share news and updates on your prognosis. We will be praying for your healing and recovery and for God's peace on you and your family....Blessings

MessageI am Pat Hill's sister and on her Caring Bridge web site she mentioned she was good friends of Jack. I, too, am a Believer and know that nothing happens to us outside of God's incredible care and concern for our lives. If you haven't already, you need to read Larry Burkett's books. You may know he had renal cell carcinoma and valiantly fought it only to die of heart disease. He wrote two concerning his cancer and the last one he summarized much of his treatment--mainstream and alternative. I do not remember the names of his books but I'm sure they can be found on Amazon.com. God's blessings to you as you embark on a journey you did not choose but rather it chose you. Prayerfully, Lana
