MessageDear Jack and Family,
I have been keeping up with your travels and health concerns through Robert and Trudy's blog and just want you to know that we think of all of you often, as we do them, and wish you well. I have only heard wonderful things about the Gamma Knife surgery and pray that this procedure will be successful. Continued blessings to you and your family. Our prayers are with you. Sincerely, Pam

MessageWe were anxious to read today's blog after talking with you last week. None of us wanted this news for you, but it's good to know all of your docs are working together for your good and doing it quickly. You have important appointments coming up this week and then the treatment on Monday, and you'll be lifted high in prayer by hundreds of family and friends. How wonderful is that!! God has sent even more angels to surround you as you continue this journey, and He'll never leave your side. Listen to your heart and feel the power that is with you. You are both so loved. Big hugs from Don and me. We miss you.

MessageJack and Karen-

Please know that I am praying for both of you. Jack, I'll be especially praying on the 8th when you go back in for more medical "stuff."

Garth and I so enjoyed seeing you, Jack, at our 50th West High reunion a few years ago. Karen, we really missed you.

Please thank whichever family member of yours is clever and skilled enough to put together this site. It is very impressive and so helpful to those of us who care about you.

Grace and Peace through Christ Jesus our Lord-
Sandy

MessageDear Jack and Karen, We were saddened to get your Christmas letter telling us of your ongoing battle with cancer. But we are so grateful that God is sustaining you and giving you the strength you need. We're also thankful for your wonderful family and this opportunity they have provided for people like us who love you to tell you about our love and our prayers. What a beautiful family! Thanks for all these photos, which tell a wonderful story about family love and the joy that comes with it. Please know that we will continue to lift you and your family up before our faithful Father, who "is able to do far more than we can think or even imagine." We love you, Red and Dorothy

MessageThank you, good friends, for the recent communication which included news of Jack's tough ride through recent months. We regret not knowing of this sooner--we would have included him in our church prayer room and surely in personal prayers. It is encouraging to read that there is the strong possibility of a positive report at his next appointment, and to that end, we shall surely pray.

It was nice to hear news of your immediate family members--how time flies!! We continue to be interested in all of them. We spent last week at our home on the Waccamaw River with our clan which included our only grandson who is a plebe at West Point this year--( he really likes it!). Our first grandchild will be married in June--she graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in May.

Both of us offer our concern and prayers to all of you during these days of stress but continue to recognize who is always in control. Please come to see us either here or at the river whenever you feel up to the trip. With love, Ray and Faith

MessageJack, I have a website named Jack's Journey. I was diagnosed with rectal cancer seven years ago. After a Colostomy and several minor surgeries, I am fine. I underwent chemotherapy and radiation therapy as part of my healing process. Obviously since I said seven years ago I am alive. It was a tough journey, but with a lot of help from family and friends I came through it even stronger than before and feel closer to family and friends. I wish and pray the same outcome for you. Many succeed I hope you're among them. I mean that sincerely.

MessageHi Jack and Karen,

So happy to hear of your fabulous travels. It is great that you could spend time with your brother too. Your health sounds good and I am so grateful to God. May the Lord continue to heal you completely and keep cancer from ever coming back. Continue to lean on Christ our everlasting Savior. To God be the glory. Dan will be coming home in 27 days. We are so glad that he will be home for Christmas. I thank the Lord for that, as originally he was going to be in Iraq until Feb.

Happy Thanksgiving to you both!

Warmly,

Della and family
