| Message | On any BLOG I can find this am- I wanted to share with you where the CHURCH OF AL-ANON has taken my family over the many years my self centered cousin has "attended"- As my laboring young cousin went out the door to the hospital at 2:30am - her AL-ANON mother said to her, "I have a PET-SIT at 7am, somebody get back here ASAP." Our precious new baby cousin was born at 4:30am and the daddy went home to share with the two children at 7:30am his news of a new baby sister for them. The post-partum mother cannot rest as she is so worried to get home and comply with her AL_ANON mother's PET SITTING SCHELUDE. AL ANON is a tool to teach you a new way to live YOUR life- a huge support system. But they do not offer diplomas or graduate class to find an end to your schooling or self centeredness. Thank you so much for the BITCH my cousin has become to not only myself but to our ENTIRE family, including her LABORING DAUGHTER. |

| Message | My son is going into rehab for the 2nd time. I have never been to an alanon meeting but thought I would see what I could gather from this site. I guess I am scared to go and listen to other's stories as I have so many of my own and have lived it.. might be weird but that is how I feel..any advice? |
