MessageMust have "tweeked" you for you to have written two comments.

I'm not going to argue your points. But I would like to discuss them.

Your comment about expecting members to work "out of their own pockets" are fine for those of you that can afford such expenses. So I guess the only way to be a member is to be in a higher income bracket. You say your a "non profit" group but if you've been affiliated with TAPS or other such organizations. We all pretty much know there is grant money and other donations comeing in from some where. Of course "administration costs" takes up the bulk of that I'm sure just as in our illustrious government and other professional business organizations.

We're all so proud of you for doing every one this service and reaping the honors as well as the benifets.

Keep up the good work. You'll get what you deserve if you keep playing with things you don't know enough about.

MessageOh last thing for Chelle,

On the part about "you can't see a member giving their time in the research for free" we are a not for profit group we do not get paid for the services we offer nor do we expect any payment from anyone.

You cannot place a price on people who are needing help at our expense, so this would pertain to "common sense".

Any group that charges a fee is not a group to be associated with now or in the future.

As for the team getting paid lol well common sense dictates if you are a not for profit and receive no funding then how can one pay?

Looks like i have got a grip on reality and life. Hopefully you will understand in the future.

With Kindest Regards,
Jim

MessageHello Carl,
I can agree on the "big groups" setting their rules and standards in stone.

As for Mediums or Psychics yes we do not use them in our investigations, even though there may be some that are "very real". If we did use them it would only be as a "tool" but not to use them as claims to a client that they have a place that is haunted or has an evil entity etc.

It would not be professional to go to a client and say "We have deemed your home to be haunted based on our Medium/Psychic, even though we do not have proof or evidence on our audio, video, photos, etc" If we used one we would either request assistant from either Chip Coffey or Chris Fleming which i have had the pleasure to be aquainted with.

Also as for you saying that other groups should unite together you are right!

That is what we have been trying to do since we departed ourselves from the TV shows Ghost Hunters aka TAPS.

This is the reason we search the web finding groups out there to join us as a sister/brother substation and place them on our website and when we receive cases we send them to other groups in that state.

We have launched as of 8/28/2009 Para Tweeter to allow people to elaborate there as well as out forum.

Hope to hear from ya or see ya on the forum or Para Tweeter.

MessageHello chell694,
Well i do appreciate your input, however we do not put restrictions on our members when it comes to evidence. The evidence we place on our website are being used by "permission" from the clients, there is a thing called "client confidentiality" "IF" the client wishes to allow us to use the evidence and place them on our site, then we have a form for them to fill out giving us the permission needed. We abide by the laws that are given and we use "common sence" when it comes to our evidence.

Secondly thank you for the "nice" comment about our header/banner smilie

We hope that you have a wonderful year and years to come.

With Kindest Regards,
Jim

MessageJust found this site and gave it a scan. Not that impressed with a site that wants it's members to give their time for free. But I do like your header.

How can you call your selves "Ghost Hunters" when you want to put limits and restrictions on the evidence you find. Common sense helps to eleminate the non-paranormal discoveries. The spirit world has it's own rule which is, "THERE ARE NO RULES FOR THEM ON THIS PLANE".

Get over yourselves. smilie

MessageHi, I am a Co-founder of an investigations group in Minnesota, i noticed lately its hard to get recognized out there with so many other bigger groups, another thing i noticed that these bigger groups are making rules and standards, how can we investigate and debunk things when these bigger groups are setting in stone what you can and cant do, a couple of my clients didnt agree with me on some things because its not how its done on TV, your group dont use mediums and psychics, they in themselves fit in the catagory of the paranormal (Paranormal is a general term that describes unusual experiences that supposedly lack a scientific explanation, or phenomena alleged to be outside of science's current ability to explain or measure) and are very real, our group is made up of several different religions and beliefs, i bring my cat along on investigations and he is checked regularly for signs of stress at the vet, i'm not accusing anyone of anything just that i'm seeing more of a hard format put on the study of the unexplained before it can be thoroughly studied, we all should be a little more open about this stuff and do a little less structure construction of our feild of study, i also noticed there is no collaboration between groups but more competition, why not start a union in which we all get along and work together to help our clients better.

Anyway i'd love to hear your thoughts and share some stories.

Sincerely
Carl

MessageHello Sue,
Well in our group we doi not have anyone that sees spirits or ghosts or aparitions as you do.

Sorry we couldn't help you on that one, but however, there may be people in the future that may read your concern or thoughts in this guestbook that may help shed some light to help you.

Thank you for signing the guestbook.
